Veterans United Was absolutely amazing from start to finish. When we first applied for this loan we weren’t quite there yet with our credit. Instead of being told no like we were several times in the past with other lenders, vets United Went above and Beyond and put us in contact with our credit consultant Charlie. He told us exactly what we needed to do in order to get our credit where it needed to be and within no time we were ready to talk to our loan officer! Darin was amazing And also went above and beyond to get us preapproved and helped us through the entire loan process. Morgan was our Loan coordinator and she was absolutely amazing! She answered every single one of our questions on a day-to-day basis And made this entire process smooth and very stress free! Kohlie was Our concierge she was very informative and very friendly! We are very grateful for our entire loan team. Veterans United made my Husband and I feel so appreciated for his service. I would absolutely recommend veterans United to any veteran looking to buy a home! We will absolutely be passing on the word to friends! The lending officer left me with property taxes and wouldn't call me during working hours, nor call me back or respond to messages I left on his phone.

You deserved timely communication and clear guidance, and I’m sorry that wasn’t your experience.
Property taxes and how they’re handled at closing or afterward should always be clearly explained so there are no surprises. All realtors love working with you all, and most sellers that never heard of you, loved you once it was all over and deal was over and completed. I’ve used Verterans 2x now and have never had a bad experience
I had a choice of companies to service my VA Refi need. ChatGPT suggested Navy Federal for perhaps a better rate and Veterans United for better customer service. I explored both options for a bit but quickly ran into obstacles with NF, including slow response to emails, getting a different person on the phone each time I called, requiring I open a NF bank account before they even talked to me, and a general sense of confusion (they explained by saying they were so popular that they were inundated with clients.)
From my initial call to VU Megan Martin was assigned as my loan officer. EVERYTHING I had to do was coordinated through her. EVERYTHING was explained, on time, made sense, and facilitated the complicated process. This was nothing short of first class concierge treatment, the kind rarely experienced in any format. No bots, no hand-offs, no excuses - just straight talk and professionalism. When the application was complete, Loan Officer Kristine Wilder similarly ushered me through the signing process which occurred in my home. Oh, I should mention that costs were comparable to NF (ChatGPT got that wrong.)
