This has been just a dream for me for 60 years! Veterans United Home Loans and George Estergard made it a reality! I cannot put into words the appreciation I have for them!! Veterans stop dreaming and get in touch with Veterans United Home Loans! George will make your dream come true like he did for me!
Wasn’t happy with being told I needed to do a water test three weeks before closing. Feel since Veterans United prides themselves on VA loans they should have mentioned a water test sooner. Went under contract on July 24th with a closing of September 10. Wasn’t told needed a water test until roughly August 24th. Due to the short notice had to spend extra money to expedite the test. Not once did anyone from Veterans United apologize for not mentioning it earlier. Now the first test failed which isn’t Veterans United’s fault, but if I know sooner to do the test could have had the well treated and water tested sooner and more than likely not been delayed on closing.I would recommend just make sure you do your own research on what the VA may require.

This was only my second time buying a home and the first was directly through the builders and their agents. I was a little nervous about the process at the beginning but the entire team was friendly and very helpful throughout. I am a huge fan of great customer service since I have worked in customer service for over 20 years. Amazing job and I will definitely be recommending Veterans United any chance I get. Thanks again to the entire team for a wonderful home buying experience.
This was not my first VA loan but it was the easiest VA loan process (or any mortgage loan process) I have experienced. The technology Veteran’s United used to fill out paper work, review, and upload paper work was very easy and convenient. My loan officer and his loan team was always in contact with me during each step of the loan process. They were also available for any questions I had. I would highly recommend Veterans United, I had a great experience with them.

These are hard working people. They go above and beyond. I personally recommend George Eastergard and his team. They are exceptional! We had an extremely challenging builder to deal with and George's team was on it every step of the way. Best decision we made was to go with his team! We couldn't have gotten our new home without them!
We can't thank Veterans United and George Eastergard enough for helping us make our dream become a reality. Post 2020 shutdown, and with new employment. The thought of buying a home didn't feel promising but they saw more value in us then we did in our lowest moments. When our landlord who we had a great relationship with of 4 years without any notice, said the rent would be raised from $1300 to $2000 a month, and if we weren't able to pay that they already found someone who could. That person could move in, in 30 days so you must be out in 30 days. To say we were terrified is putting it lightly!
After almost 15 years of marriage, 3 children, 9 years active duty, going on 5 years in the reserves we never thought we would be looking at days until we were homeless.
That's when my husband on his lunch break on a whim decided to filled out a home loan application, that I wasn't aware of. Boy, was I surprised when I got a call from George Eastergurd, (our lending angel) congratulating me on being approved on our home loan! I remember tell him I'd have to call him back after I talk to my husband! I was confused to weather this was a telemarketer or some kinda scam, but it was real! We got to work with George that day, found a realtor, and a few days later we were looking at homes for sale!
That was a little over 2 months ago, and I'm sitting in my gorgeous new home, with land for my children to run and grow. We are still in shock, my husband and I are still asking each other are you sure this isn't a dream? It is a dream one that became a reality!
We can't thank Veterans United and George Eastergurd for helping us enough. To go from days away from homelessness to home owners is crazy! Thanks to y'all ,our children even our one day grandchildren will ever have a moment to think about homelessness, we have a beautiful, spacious, forever home!
