We’ve used VU twice and a smaller lender once for our three total times we’ve purchased a home using the VA Loan. Will highly recommend them over and over as we haven’t seen many other lenders top their customer service and support throughout the process. We always feel informed and like we’re part of the entire process during each step, whereas other lenders keep to themselves while working on things behind the scenes. Grateful for VU and will always recommend them for VA Loans.

The efficiency of the Veteran's United team is comparable to a Formula One pit crew and all I had to do was drive!
They asked for the same paperwork over and over. They asked for paperwork on things that are not relevant and for things I had already turned in. The staff were impatient and treated me like a nuisance.

I’m really sorry for how frustrating this experience sounds. Being asked for the same documents repeatedly, especially ones that don’t feel relevant, is exhausting, and you shouldn’t have felt like a nuisance while trying to move your loan forward. That’s not the experience we want anyone to have.

With a caveat that it would be easier if you are NOT trying to sell a house at the same time trying to get a loan on a new place. Excessive number of "to-do". If all those things were listed at one time instead of bringing them up over WEEKS/MONTHS.
My team was great to work with and also understanding of my schedule, working around my schedule to get things done.

The only suggestion........Veterans United should test the knowledge of the Realtor for VA criteria for move in ready houses.
