The process was smooth as butter from start to finish. George and Blair did an awesome job guiding me through the process as a veteran and first time home buyer.

I know this was my first time buying a house and there was a lot of obstacles with me having to go TDY and do a mail away closing. I didn’t expect everything to go perfectly but I tried to get as much done or planned out to make things easier for when I was away but I kept getting told there was nothing more to do at this time and I’m way ahead and on top of where I should be. I had let the whole team know I was going to be away and I wouldn’t have my phone really during the day. Several times at the end of the day I would see missed calls and voicemails saying that I needed to get this thing done before THAT day. This really frustrated me because nobody had let me know prior what needed to be done. I also talked with the attorneys office and talked over the phone about the contract the day before closing and I told them I would get it notarized the next day and then mailed and they said okay. Then on that day they changed things up saying I needed to scan and email it before I mail it. I don’t have a scanner out here so that made things way more stressful. They also said they needed to receive it in the mail THAT day even though we talked over the contract the previous day. Overall I feel like there was very little effort into anyone actually trying to help me and communicate anything with me. I would recommend being more proactive and informative especially with a new homebuyer.
